Overall, every specifically tracked item saw an increased recycling rate, with the percentages of positive change ranging from 23% to 258%.
•88.8% of households reported changed recycling habits because of their BinBisas.

DECORATIVE RECYCLING BINS
•97.5% of households saw items being recycling that had never been recycled before because of their BinBisas.
UCLA Product Testing Results:
•BinBisa increased recycling convenience in 97.5% of households.
•Lead consultant for the study, Vivian Lew Ph.D., applied McNemar's Chi-squared test to the data. The result was 36.21429, and the final study report goes on to interpret that number, reading "This large value has a probability far less than .0001 which is quite small. This suggests that this change is unlikely to be due to random chance alone. The result provides evidence that the BinBisa changes behavior."
•92.5% affirmed that household members had increased knowledge about recyclable items after using BinBisa Recyclers.
Can BinBisa Decorative Recyclers really help people feel good while helping to increase recycling? Can these bins really change habits, and increase knowledge about recycling?
